ARCHIVED WORK
Past projects include The Joker and The Chakra Mask. Yellow Cedar. The Spoons Series include both traditional custom spoons and the iconic “Chakra Spoons”, visually representing the human “energy centers”, known in spiritual and healing traditions. We also show the 3 stages of development for the carving of the Chakra Staff pieces, which are a detailed piece that features all 7 of the Chakra Symbols. The Spoon carvings are made out of several different wood sources including African Mahogany, Western Maple, Yellow Cedar, with a recent addition of Black Walnut.

PAST ARCHIVES
This are David’s past creations: already sold and found homes in living-rooms and galleries of collectors all around the world. This particular gallery features the Sikh “Khanda” – an emblem of the Sikh faith seen on temples all around the world. KHANDAS are available in flat carving, made from Western Maple or Poplar. Also featured are THE PUFFIN and the HAMMERHEAD SHARK, The The Puffin was carved from Yellow Cedar, 40 years old wood; and the HammerHead Shark was carved from a 25-year-old Western Maple wood beam.

WHALE TAILS
The Whale Tails are made out of Western Maple and Red Cedar and represent David’s respect and fascination with the diversity of marine life in the oceans of the Pacific Northwest. The geometry and finished beauty of these pieces captures the elegance and freedom of the spirit of these beautiful creatures.

FEMALE TORSO
The Female Torso is a Red Cedar Laminate, approximately 17 inches high and 7 inches wide. The beauty of the Cedar wood, along with the graceful geometry of the piece, graciously captures the essence of the female form. It’s totally balanced, so it “stands on its own 2 feet”, naturally.

WINGED SEAHORSE (Bamboo Laminate)
This Winged Seahorse is one of a series of Sea Horses that David has been working on over the last few years. This one is particularly unique because of the wood origin and the geometric and mathematically pristine arrangement of the laminated wood.

THE HUMAN BUTTERFLY (Red Cedar Laminate)
The Human Butterfly is a whimsical marriage of a mystical human mermaid and an abstract Butterfly. Approximate size is 15″ high by about 11″ wide and 16″ deep. More information by video on our Stories Page.

ANGEL-FISH (Poplar Laminate)
The current Angel-Fish series represents a number of unique carvings, all in Laminated Poplar, and all retailing for $285. Sizes vary from 10 to 15 inches in length, 10 to 12 inches in height, and about 3 to 4 inches in depth. For more visuals, check our Photo Gallery.
